|Help:| pass the mouse over the following 3 items to obtain additional hints on using |Flow Objects|.
#24
|Re-Open| dialog for this |Flow Object| by double-clicking the object with the |pointer tool|, or by using |Reflow Text| in the |Text Menu|.
|Filling:| the line spacing is preserved. You may need to alter the line spacing of text objects in order to completely fill out all polygons.
|Stretch/Rotate:| like |Picture Objects|, you can use the |Pointer tool| or the |Scale| menu to stretch and scale. Rotation (with tool or menu) or flipping can also be used; unlike pictures, colors are always preserved.
|Appearance:| provides additional control of the appearance of |Flow Text| objects.
#11
|Combined| text and polygons form a single |Flow Object| in the location of the polygons.
|Joining| requires at least one text object and one polygon. With more than one text object, the text is gathered from the foremost object first; likewise for more than one polygon, text flows to the foremost polygon first.
|Justification Preview| shows the results of flowing the sample objects using the chosen justification (for clarity, preview always shows the polygon). Notice that justification does not affect line wrap, only the justification of each line.
|Selected Graphics| may consist of ovals, arcs, rectangles, rounded rectangles and straight or smooth polygons, or groups of these objects. |Non-polygons are automatically converted to polygons.|
|Selected Text| may consist of a single text object, many text objects, or even groups of text objects. Except for justification, all other text attributes are preserved when flowed into polygon objects.
|Blend:| if on, a special effect is added. The color of the first and last text character determine a linear ramp of colors. Each line of text (from top to bottom of the |Flow Object| is assigned a blended color.
|Justification:| select the layout of each line; the choice does not affect what text is placed on each line.
|Full:| if on, all text is fully justified; that is, extra spacing is added to spread the text across each line. This is normally only used on wide columns, or results may become too spacious.
|Right:| if on, all text from all objects is right justified.
|Center:| if on, all text from all objects will be center justified.
|Left:| if on, all text from all objects will be left justified when flowed into graphic objects.
|Object's:| if on, the justification of each text object is preserved when the text is flowed.
|Show Polygon(s):| if on, polygon objects remain visible when text is flowed. In all cases, the text is slightly inset from the border of the polygon, even if the border has a "none" pattern.
